Object Manipulation: Before ~ After
A watercolor scientific illustration of a tulip is the resource for a simple tulip illustration. The source tulip was cut away from its white background, the stem was straightened, colors were changed, and the shapes were varied.

Precise Selection: Before ~ After
A vintage illustration from the LOC was restored and repaired. The four dancers were selected and cut away. Notice that a foot and also a hand under the breast of one of the dancers had to be removed and reconstructed.

A vintage photo from the LOC of JD Rockefeller was repaired and restored. Missing and torn elements were reconstructed. Contrast and sharpness were enhanced.
